On April 8, 1977 Alice was united in marriage with Clayton G. Witkovsky at the Caro United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2009.
Alice was a homemaker all of her life, and enjoyed reading gardening and playing dominoes. She was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church.
Alice is survived by three sons, Roy Allen & Norma Wightman of Caro, Donald Nelson & Marie Wightman of Westminster, South Carolina, Kevin Lloyd & Lisa Wightman of Caro; six grandchildren six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances McCoon of Caro, Arlene Stilson and her husband, Carl, of Mayville, Shirley Chaffee of Columbiaville; one brother, Rev. George Chaffee of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Caro United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Mayberry officiating.
