Dilbert Pfeiffer, 83, Falls City, Nebr., formerly of Hamlin, died Friday, Mar 19, 1982 at the Northview Care Center in Falls City. He had been in failing health for the past two years and had entered the nursing center on Jan 20, 1981.
    He was born near Hamlin on Feb 9, 1899, the son of Harry and Annabelle Chaffee Pfeiffer. He was a life-long resident of the Hamlin area, moving to the present family home in Falls City in 1973. He was a retired farmer. He married Lelah E. Stoner, July 6, 1921, at Morrill. She survives and is a resident of the Northview Care Center in Falls City. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Morrill and the Masonic Lodge at Hamlin. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Winnfred [sic] Pfeiffer, of the home in Falls City.
    Funeral services will be held Monday Mar 22, 1982, at 3 p.m. at the Dorr Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Wolf officiating. Interment at the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha. Dorr Funeral Home, Falls City, is in charge of arrangements.
