The son of Peter & Mary J. (McCoy) Pfeiffer. He married Anna Belle Chaffee Feb 12, 1896 in Hamlin, KS.

—Harry M. Pfeiffer, 75, died at his home in Hamlin, Kans., this Monday morning, March 18, 1946. He is survived by his wife of the home, a son, Delbert Pfeiffer, of near Hamlin, one granddaughter, a sister, Mrs. Adaline Hoban of Hamlin. Funeral arrangements have not yet been arranged.

Pfeiffer
—Harry M. Pfeiffer, second son of Peter, Mary Pfeiffer, was born in a log cabin at the old Pfeiffer home 2½ miles east of Hamlin. He grew to manhood, spent his entire life in that community. He attended school at Terrapin, graduated from Hiawatha Academy, attended Kansas State college in Manhattan, Kans. On Feb. 12, 1896 he was married to Annie Bell Chaffee. They commenced their married life on a farm 4 miles north of Hamlin where they resided until they moved to their present home in Hamlin 6 years ago. To this union was born one son, Dilbert, who with his faithful wife Leah, daughter Winifred, continue to live on the farm vacated by Mr. Mrs. Pfeiffer. Mr. Pfeiffer became a member of the Methodist church at Padonia at the age of 16. He joined the Masonic lodge in 1903, served as secretary of that lodge. He was a member, past patron of the Hamlin Chapter of the Eastern Star. He died after a very short illness at his home in Hamlin at the age of 75 years, 10 months, 26 days. He is survived by his wife of the home, son, Dilbert, granddaughter, Winifred, one sister, Mrs. Adaline Hoban of Falls City, three nephews, two nieces. One brother, Daniel, preceded him in death.
