MRS, SPANGLER EXPIRES AT 88
Mrs. Minnie Florence (Wortz) Spangler, 88, widow of James Spangler. died of complications at the Warner Hospital Tuesday at 9:50 pm.
Mrs. Spangler was born near Hanover January 16, 1865, and lived most of her life in and around Fairfield. She was the daughter of George and Martha Jane Wortz. For the last 13 years she has resided with her daughter Mrs. Carrie Musselman, of Gettysburg.
The deceased was a member of St. John's Reformed Church of Fairfield.
Surviving are three daughter. Mrs. Musselman. Gettysburg: Mrs. Alice Musselman, Fairfield: Mrs. Grace Harbaugh. Sabillasville. MD, and one son, Russell M. Spangler. Gettysburg. There are 24 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren in addition to a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Mark B. Michael at the Allison Funeral Home. Fairfield. Saturday, 2:30 pm. Burial in Fairfield.
Friends may call at Allison's Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock
