In Critical Condition.
Mrs. Elizabeth Musselman is in very dangerous condition at Horton hospital where she was taken for operation because of ruptured appendix. Her condition is so critical, however, that the operation has been delayed. Only relatives are allowed to see Mrs. Musselman. Mrs. Jerry Sherrer, Mrs. W. V. Pierson were with her Friday morning.

OBITUARY
Musselman—Eliza May Musselman was born Feb. 3, 1890, in Doniphan county near White Cloud, Kans., where she was reared. On April 19, 1910, she was married to Charlie Musselman. Sept. 24, 1916, she was baptised in Soldier creek near Goff, Kans. She was a member of the Christian church. She became ill Aug. 10 at her home in Hiawatha, was taken by ambulance to Horton hospital, where doctors found the appendix had burst. She died Wednesday morning Aug. 19 at 6:30 o'clock at the age of 45 years. She is survived by 3 children, Carl, Geraldine, Leroy, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, her father, W. V. Pierson. Her mother died 5 years ago. This same year her husband left to live in another state, so she moved to Hiawatha Aug. 15, 1932. She was known for her lovely work, she was a beautiful quilter. The funeral was at Hargis funeral home Friday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. Y. S. Beans conducted the services, burial was at Mt. Hope cemetery.
