Frank S. Knotts, 75, of 215 Wall Street, Morgantown, W. Va., died Thursday, March 2, 1972 in Monongalia County Hospital, Morgantown.

A son of Lewis and Mary Johnson Knotts, he was born January 20, 1897 in Greene County.

Mr. Knotts was a barber at Morgantown for 26 years, and was a member of the Spruce Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Ansel Knotts of Santa Monica, Calif.; and two sisters: Mrs. Austin (Anna) Moore, of Patalaska, Ohio and Mrs. Ansel (Nannie) Lemley, of Mt. Morris.

One son, five brothers and three sisters are deceased.
