Due to an accidental cause which will never be definitely known, Charles W Musselman, 51 years old, a popular and highly respected farmer of McKnightstown, was shot and instantly killed this morning at 7:00.
…………………..Mr. Musselman is survived by his wife; three sons, Calvin Musselman, 22 years old, who has been hoe nine months after serving with the 413th Telegraph Battalion; Leonard Musselman,
17 years old, a student at the Arendtsville Vocational School; Daniel Musselman, 12 years old, a pupil at Flohr’s church.
Two brothers, George Musselman, Spring Grove; Gleason Musselman, New York State; and three sisters; Mrs. Annie Miller, York; Mrs. Felix Fowler, Spring Grove; and Miss Mattie Musselman, Baltimore, all former residents of Gettysburg, survive him.
Funeral on Saturday morning, meeting at the house at 10:30. Services conducted by Rev. Clark Heller. Interment in McKnightstown cemetery.
