"Radgers, Sgt. Henry - "died September 29, 1909 at the home of [Brig] General Charles G. Penney. This gentleman's name was spelled in various ways throughout the years - Badgers, Rogers, [Rodgers]. But I'm convinced it is Radgers because Charles Penney ran notices in the newspaper after his friend's death and this how he spelled it. Penney was in charge of Radger's estate. Radgers was a Civil War vet. He is listed in cemetery records as Badgers."
