Vlatko Vuković Kosača was one of the commanders in the battle of Kosovo in which he achieved victory over the Ottoman army on his side of the battlefield. He was sent by King Tvrtko I to help the Serbian army.
He was the administrative and military governor of Dalmatia province during the Bosnian rule of Dalmatia and defeated the Ottoman army in the Battle of Bileća (1388).
He was the representative of the Bosnian king Tvrtko I in many administrative affairs with other states. Vlatko was a nobleman from the Kosača family of Bosnia.
Vlatko died in 1392 and was buried in the village of Boljuni near Stolac.
