Great great great granddaughter of Davis Layton and great great great granddaughter of Charles and Melinda Applegate. Pioneers who came to Oregon in 1847 and on the Applegate side with brothers Jessie and Lindsey created the Applegate Trail in 1842 as an alternative Trail to Oregon.
Today I possess the 200 year old bedroom set and the family Bible, printed 1850 containing all births, deaths and weddings from 1850 to 1994.
