Bio
I became interested in tracing my ancestry after I retired and found myself with some extra time on my hands. My husband and I had given each other DNA testing kits for Christmas that year, so that also helped trigger my interest. On my father's side my ancestry is German, French and French Canadian. I search the names Todisman (aka Dadisman), Bolduc, and Holliday. Ancestry on my mother's side is English and German, and I search the names King, Short, Gullet(t) and Belew. One of the more interesting discoveries I've made is that a chalice created by my silversmith 9th GGF is on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York: http://metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/197083
