Bio
I have been engaged in family genealogy research since 1995, when we found out my husband had been adopted as a newborn infant. His biological family has taken us back through the early settlers of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine to Pilgrim Isaac Allerton of the famous ship, MAYFLOWER. It includes Patriots and Loyalists, ministers, civil and social activists. His adoptive family goes back about 5 generations in America and hails from Ireland and Prussia.
As for my own roots, my trip has taken me to Loyalists and Patriots as well; and includes Immigrant Moses Pingrey, an early saltmaker of Ipswich, MA.
