Bio
Hello. Wendy and I live in the Memphis area.
My career in the Marine Corps landed us here. After retiring from the Corps, we settled and are building the next chapter of our lives. Our children and grandchildren remain our first love, but we do have a passion for genealogy and history.
I am an avid military researcher and collector, and Wendy is a member of the Mayflower Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Daughters of Union Veterans.
In between our full time jobs, we enjoy researching and sharing our discoveries. We have enjoyed the richness and bounty our country has to offer largely due to the work and sacrifice of our ancestors. Thus as a way to honor them, we strive to preserve the history of their journeys. Participating in organizations such as Find A Grave allows us to do just that.
Bruce's family includes the surnames: Doeller, Feltes, Gumtow, Hachman, Hechley, Keis, Koppy, Linz, Paterlick, Probst, Ringloff, Salzl, Schmidt, Streitz, Urban, Wiener.
Wendy's family includes the surnames: Allerton, Burow, Clark, Cushman, Dawson, Dumerce, Eaton, Johnson, Jones, Judkins, Kraft, Miller, Moore, Pearcy, Priest, Rahn, Robideaux (aka Robidoux), Smart, Spencer, Stevens, Stewart, Walker, Weins.
If you have information about any of our families we would love to hear from you. Let's trade stories.
