Hazel V. Davis is enumerated on the 1900 census with her mother Julia G. Randell and her third known husband James Hope Randell. Hazel was born in Tennessee and gives her birth as Nov 1884. Her mother's maiden name was Price and it is thought her father was Lawson L. Davis. Texas marriage records have Hazel V. Davis and Norman C. Dorchester marrying on 17 Apr 1906 in Grayson County, no death certificate has been located.
------------The notice of her death was published on Tuesday, 21 Jan 1919 in the Dallas Morning News which stated Hazel Dorchester, wife of Norman Dorchester, died at 1 o'clock Monday morning following a week's illness of influenza. Her husband and children were also sick.
