Albert was born in SLC, UT to Siese and Maria Vuyk Aardema. He married his sweetheart, Betty Jean Royall in the Salt Lake Temple on Dec. 9, 1950; she preceded him in death on Feb. 13, 2003. Albert graduated from South High School; then achieved a bachelor's degree in business at the LDS Business College. He spent 3 years in the armed forces and some of that time was spent in the Philippines. Albert worked for Mountain Fuel/Questar for 42 years.
