Paul D. Fallis, 79, of Corbin, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005 in Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He was born on April 16, 1926 in Frankfort, a son to the late John Fallis and the late Anna Mae Sherer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two half-brothers, Lewis and Marshall Blackwell.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in World War II. He was a retired self-employed plastic manufacturer. He believed in the Baptist faith and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

The funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday in the Corbin Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Terry Williams and Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Fonzie Wilder Post 88 of Corbin. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Corbin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church building fund.
