MABEL YAMADA, 82, of HOLMDEL, died Monday, May 12, at Beth Israel Hospital, New York City. She had been a medical lab technician with the U.S. Army in Tokyo. She was a 1945 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and was a former volunteer at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art. Born in San Bernardino, Calif., she lived in Fort Lee for 46 years before moving to Holmdel three
years ago. Surviving are her husband, Tad; a son, Jay Yamada of San Francisco; two daughters, Lynn Davis of Holmdel, and Karen Yamada of Ann Arbor, Mich.; and seven grandchildren, Hannah and Rebecca Steinberg, Sean and Timothy Davis, and Peter,
Emma and Thomas Dolce. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with visitation one hour prior at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Donations in her name may be made to The Park-
