THE PARIS NEWS, 21 Jan 1962: 'Mrs. Connor Dickson, the former Miss Dorothy Provine of Paris, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at home in Wichita Falls Sunday, 21 Jan 1962, according to a message received here by Mrs. Maclin Atkinson, cousin of Mr. Dickson. Funeral services were held in Wichita Falls Tuesday morning with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements here. Mrs. Dickson, daughter of the late Ralph and Frances (Dorchester) Provine, was born in Paris, and married Mr. Dickson here. They lived in Paris for some time before moving to Wichita Falls. Survivors are her husband, a son and daughter, Ralph Dickson, New Orleans, and Mrs. Paul Collins, Wichita Falls, and four grandchildren.'
