The son of John C & Ester (Terry) Burris of Guilford Co NC, late of Liberty Twp, Highland Co OH, Miles married Nancy Strickland in 1826 in OH.

Children with Nancy:
1) Daniel Burris (1827-1901), m: Syntha Ann Harding (1836-1904).
2) Jacob Burris (1829-1897), m1: Frances Ann (nee unkn, 1834-1892); m2. Ida May Johnson (b. 1875).
3) Miles Burris Jr (b. 1830)
4) Stephen Burris (1834-1911), m: Nancy Jane Langford (b. 1842).

More children are certain, but names are unknown at this time. Updates to follow.
Miles is my 3rd paternal Gr-Grand Uncle.
