Rosita was born September 20, 1952 in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
She was predeceased by her father Donald McManamon Sr. and her sons, Eric Jason and Thomas Archie (Lumpy) Loebsack.
Rosita is survived by her husband Walter J. Pieffer and her mother Mrs. Catherine Spock McManamon.
Rosita is also survived by her two grand-daughters, Sebrina Emily and Ashlynn Marie.
Also surviving are her brothers and sister; Donald Jr. (Theresa), Daniel (Sandy), John-Neil, and Aileen McManamon. She has many nieces, nephews, cousins, and sisters in law and their respective families.
Rosita survivors also include her devoted pseudo-sisters Gail Pape and MaryEllen Stover and their families.
Rosita was a retired nurse. She was an LPN who achieved a nearly perfect State Board of Nursing Licensure score of 798 out of a possible 800. Her high standards and care for her patients were the hallmarks of her clinical career. Rosita later went into the healthcare administrative management field as a Senior Care Advisor.
Rosita was a past President of the Tullytown Volunteer Fire Company and to date its only woman President.
Rosita will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, loved her and were cared for by her.
A calling time will be held Tuesday morning April 6, 2010 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Wm. Carter Funeral Home 314 Cedar Street Bristol, PA.
Interment and a brief graveside service will immediately follow at the Tullytown Cemetery.
