Hilda S. Graham, the widow of state Sen. Ernest R. Graham, and mother of state Sen. Robert Graham of Miami Lakes, died Monday in Doctors Hospital.
Mrs. Graham's husband died in 1964. She was born in Freeport, Fla., and came to Dade County in 1936 after graduating from Florida State College for Women. She taught seven years in Dade public schools.
She was the first vice president of the local chapter of the American Association of University Women and had been active in PTA work when her children were young.
Besides her son, Robert, Mrs. Graham is survived by a stepson, William A. Graham; stepdaughter., Mrs. Mary Graham Crow; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Warren, Mrs. Ina Thompson, Mrs. Edith Watkins and Mrs. Louise Campbell; a brother, Dr. Curtiss Simmons; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at noon Wednesday in the Miami Lakes Congregational Church, 6701 Miami Lakeway, Miami Lakes. The family requests memorials either to the Miami Lakes church or to the First United Methodist Church of De Funiak Springs.
