MRS. DANIEL C. CHASE SOUTH AM BOY, March 17. Mrs. Harriet Grace Chase, widow of the late Daniel C. Chase, died this morning at her home at 319 South Pine Avenue. Her only survivor is her daughter, Miss Edna Chase of this city. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at her residence under the direction of Undertaker Robert T. Mason. The Rev. H. E. Weyrich, pastor of Christ Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will be Tuesday afternoon at Fonda, N.Y. The Central New Jersey Home News, New Brunswick, NJ, Sun., Mar. 18, 1945 p. 16.
On Tuesday, January 8, 1935, Mrs. Harriet G. Chase, widow of Senator Daniel C. Chase, was elected a director of the First National Bank of South Amboy at the annual meeting of shareholders. Mrs. Chase was named to succeed her husband soon after his death and the shareholders voted to return her to the board for the ensuing year. She would serve as a vice president until her death in 1945
