Helen C. Acri (nee Thorn)

Helen C. Acri, formerly of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on February 9, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family, as per her wishes.
She was born on June 21, 1925 in Steelton, Pa. to the late Howard W. Thorn and Helen C. (nee Carnes) Thorn. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and served in the United States Army for 2 years.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Raymond D. Acri, Jr., parents, and her 3 brothers, Edward, Howard and Vernon Thorn.
She is survived by her loving children Kim and Scott Acri, dear grandchildren, Joe (Stacey) Cash, Kelly (Greg) DiBattista, her loving brother Donald (Norma) Thorn, 5 great grandchildren, and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also her cats Foxy & Pearl and her dog Luna brought her much happiness.
Her memorial service will held on March 1, 2014 at the Eddystone Methodist Church, 9th and Saville Sts. Eddystone, Pa. 19022
Burial: Arlington National Cemetery, with her husband
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation by visiting, ww5.komen.org/donate
