Howard H. Carle, 48 of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Birmingham, died in the Veterans Hospital in Coral Gables Sunday, according to word received here yesterday.
A native of Bessemer, Mr. Carle had lived in Birmingham most of his life. He moved to Florida a year ago.
Mr. Carle was a labaoratory technician for Pittsbrgh Testing laboratories. He had been with the company since the end of World War II, of which he was a veteran.
Funeral will be announced by Johns-Ridout's.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Emily C. Graves, Ft. Louderdale; a son, Howard H. Carle Jr., and a daughter, Amy Louise Carle, Falls Chrch, Va.
